Converse moves on to Missoni after this collaboration with Comme des Garcon. Have a feeling the CDG collab would make a bigger impact on the market though.
i think the cdg play heart is all too often underrated in terms of its minimalistic appeal. however, i have heard differing opinions on the matter. i was once picking up this play cardigan for the girlf and i asked for a second opinion on the matter, to which, my friend remarked, “oh golly, that looks like the spawn of the devil”

how are you rueben! i’m home and i haven’t seen you since i’ve gotten home! i just took the second look at the logo — you might be quite right! i’ve never quite looked at it properly because it’s just everywhere, esp in SG and HK (i get the impression tokyo too, but i haven’t been back in a while). but i guess it just shows that the noise-to-signal ratio increases significantly when you make a minimalistic design ubiquitous: people start examining everything else that’s not the logo.
