I find it odd that no one has really talked about On Pedder employing Keiichi Tanaami’s work in its catalogue for Spring/Summer 2012 — is this a common arrangement? The other day we walked by On Pedder at Ngee Ann City (well just because no one really walks by On Pedder at Scotts Square, really), and saw a huge print that looked oddly familiar.
I suppose service staff can’t really fault you for being drawn into the store by the advertisement (am I doing them any injustice in calling the poster an advertisement?), but obviously I tried on a few pairs of Chloes and Repettos as well — you know, just so.
The new catalogue’s really a bit clever, because all the shoes/bags/accessories this season are so colourful! It gets a little harder to spot the product in the catalogue though — like a more expensive version of Where’s Wally.
