Oh dries, dries.

A friend and I spotted this pair of Dries van Noten X Linda Farrow shades at a second-hand menswear store in Hong Kong. We were at DAY, a tiny outfit in the middle of Victoria Centre in Tin Hau.

The walk from Tin Hau MTR to Victoria Centre is exciting, and then somewhat intimidating. The streets are lined with fruit stalls, and then slowly the stalls become interspersed with old repair shops (I don’t know what people repair). Finally we get to lonely, lonely Victoria Centre, which is barely a distance from the water.

Anyway, back to Dries. I think this is a lovely, lovely pair of shades — plus it’s in lilac!

The only thing not working in its favour is the visible spine — what is it called? It’s called 芯 in Japanese, and I’m not on a lookout for this pair anymore because I’m snooty like that.

OK la actually I wouldn’t mind it if it came free. 😦
